• What kind of services do Ikeda Spa provide?

  We provide our signature Japanese massage and facial as well as Hinoki Onsen Bath. You can view our treatment menu.

• How do I choose my treatment?

  You need not worry about finalizing your treatment now. On the day of your treatment, our staff will perform a consultation with you to further understand your current health conditions and preference to make better recommendations which will be beneficial to you.

• Are there any health conditions that would prevent me from getting treatment?

  We may decline reservations for guests who are currently visiting the hospital, have high blood pressure, cancer or osteoporosis, or are currently pregnant. Please refrain from consuming alcohol directly before and after treatment.

• Can I have a meal before the spa treatment?

  Yes, but allow at least one hour for digestion before receiving any spa treatment.

• Is there anything I should bring?

  We provide all amenities at the spa. If you would like to fix your makeup after the treatment, please bring your own cosmetics.

• What do I wear into the onsen bath?

  According to the traditional Japanese way, it is advisable to experience the Onsen bare body (totally naked) for total relaxation. However if you feel uncomfortable, we will provide black disposable tube bra and underwear to wear.

• Are young children allowed to use the onsen bath?

  Yes, under the close supervision of their guardian during the bath. Therefore, you can only book for our couple onsen.

• Can I use the onsen bath if I have a tattoo?

  Yes of course. We love body art too.

• I have oily and acne prone skin. Is my skin type suitable for facial treatments?

  Yes. We will do a consultation and skin check to analyse the cause of your problem, before recommending a suitable treatment for you.

• What are the electrical facial treatments that use machines?

  All electrical facial treatments are listed under Facial Addons on our treatment menu.

• What are the treatments available for pregnant ladies?

  We do not recommend any other massage treatments except for our prenatal massage, which is suitable for those who are more than 16 weeks pregnant. We can provide the prenatal massage up till the child delivery date. All facials can be performed except for electrical facial treatments, such as RF,...
